Everyone has a favorite song. Sometimes it’s just because it’s catchy, but most of the time, in my opinion, it is because that song has the ability to transport the listener to another place when they hear it. Whether it’s connected to a childhood memory, reminds you of good times, or describes or emulates a place that you’d like to explore, real or fake, the best kind of music is the music that creates a world and brings you there. With my project, I have combined virtual reality and music to expand upon this idea.
